Bush: US must resist temptation to leave Iraq
President George W. Bush on Saturday urged Americans growing increasingly impatient with the Iraq war to resist a temptation to retreat, even as he acknowledged setbacks and the prospect of more bloodshed. On the eve of the three-year anniversary of the launch of the war, Bush used his weekly radio address to insist that despite “horrific” images in Iraq, progress was being made on the political and military fronts.
