Pakistan is holding a Syrian-born man suspected of ties to terrorists, a Pakistani official said Thursday. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, declined to identify the suspect further. Pakistani authorities said in November they were trying to determine whether a man detained during a police raid in the southern city of Quetta was Mustafa Setmarian Nasar, 47, an al-Qaida-linked Syrian native who holds Spanish citizenship.
