Faced with a major setback in their death penalty case against a confessed al-Qaida conspirator, prosecutors are considering whether to appeal a judge’s decision to bar witnesses who were improperly coached by a government lawyer. U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema delayed the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui until Monday to give prosecutors a chance to sort out their options.
