Balochistan landmines ‘kill one’

ASIA: Two landmine blasts in Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan province have killed a civilian and injured seven others, officials say.

A man died and his son was injured when their vehicle went over a landmine in Dera Bugti district, officials said. Six people were wounded when a vehicle hit another landmine in the same area. Officials blame tribal militants. Gas-rich Balochistan has seen months of violence as tribal groups push for greater political and economic rights. Full Story
