Bangladeshi forces have surrounded a house where Shaykh Abdur Rahman, chief of the outlawed Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JMB), is believed to be hiding. Residents have been told to evacuate the area. Earlier, nine people were detained at the house in the north-eastern town of Sylhet. The authorities say their priority is to take Mr Rahman alive. His son says the house is packed with explosives.
