Guyana’s military hunts for missing weapons
The Guyanese military detained six soldiers Tuesday after discovering weapons were missing from an arms depot at the army’s headquarters, a military spokesman said. The military decided to check its weapons stocks earlier this month after explosives and ammunition were stolen from a depot in neighboring Suriname.
