Three diplomatic vehicles belonging to the Swedish consulate and a political party office were damaged by petrol bombs and gas canisters in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki early on Friday, police said. Police officials said petrol bombs had been thrown under the vehicles parked outside the consulate, while a gas canister was thrown at the entrance of an office of the ruling New Democracy party. Two branches of Greece’s National Bank in Thessaloniki and Athens were also damaged by gas canisters. Full Story
