The head of Kazakhstan’s security service has offered to resign after five of his officers were arrested on suspicion of a political murder. The KNB agents, from the elite Arystan combat division, were detained over the death earlier this month of opposition politician Altynbek Sarsenbaiuly. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has yet to approve the resignation, of Nartay Dutbayev, a KNB source told Reuters. Full Story
