Using her harshest language yet on Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Thursday called Venezuela and Cuba ”sidekicks” of Iran and dangers to Latin American democracies, and gave new details of a U.S. diplomatic campaign to contain Chávez.
