Two Italian aid workers have died in the Afghan capital, Kabul, due to gas poisoning, Italian officials say. Iendi Ianneli and Stefano Siringo were found dead in a secure compound, the Italian foreign ministry said. Officials ruled out foul play and said there were no signs of violence on the bodies of the two men. “Unfortunately they had a problem in their room with their heating system,” Italian Deputy Ambassador, Nicola Minazzi, said in Kabul.
