Gov. Rick Perry is dedicating $3.8 million dollars more to fund crime detection and prevention efforts along the U.S.-Mexico border. Perry announced Thursday the funds will support Operation Linebacker, an initiative organized by the 16-member Texas Border Sheriff’s Association to enhance law enforcement along the Rio Grande.
