A first group of 39 Al Qaida suspects will go on trial in Yemen next week, security officials said yesterday. The 39 are among 150 Al Qaida suspects whose cases are being sent to the general prosecution. The men were arrested on charges of forming armed groups to carry out terrorist acts and sabotage in Yemen, the website of state-run newspaper, 26 September, quoted an unidentified security official as saying.
