A Canadian general says he’s prepared to lead his soldiers on the offensive against insurgents in Afghanistan. Brig.-Gen. David Fraser is taking 2,200 troops into the perilous south of Afghanistan later this month. He says they are well-trained and equipped and are ready to hunt down insurgents and Taliban holdouts if necessary.
