A case pending against the Netherlands in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg is being watched closely by the governments of several other European countries. The case involves an attempt by the Netherlands to deport Algerian man Mohammed Ramzy. He was arrested in the Netherlands in 2002 and accused of being involved with Muslim extremism.
