Rail track blown up in southwest Pakistan

Suspected tribal rebels blew up a stretch of railway track in troubled southwestern Pakistan, disrupting services but causing no casualties, officials said. The blast happened two hours before the arrival of a passenger train from the eastern city of Lahore to the restive province of Baluchistan, Pakistan Railways deputy superintendent Ghulam Rasool told AFP on Thursday.
