Two American servicmen were wounded when their vehicle was hit by a bomb blast while on patrol in a restive eastern province of Afghanistan, the U.S. military said on Thursday. The U.S patrol came under rocket-propelled grenade and mortar fire after the blast on a road in Kunar province on Wednesday, and they called in Apache helicopters and A-10 aircraft for support, the military said in a statement.
