‘Italy still faces terror threat’
The head of Italian intelligence agency SISDE said on Thursday that the country could in future face terrorist attacks such as last year’s bombings on London’s transport system. International terrorism remains the biggest single threat to the nation and the state security apparatus is working at full stretch to meet it, said SISDE director Gen. Mario Mori. “We remain reasonably worried. We cannot rule out the possibility that attacks like those in Madrid and London will take place here too in the future,” Gen. Mori said. Full Story
