The Nepalese government has declared a night-time curfew in the capital, Kathmandu, with immediate effect. Security forces have been told to shoot on sight anyone found breaking the curfew between 2300 and 0400 (local time), the government said. The order follows attacks on Saturday by Maoist rebels in which 12 policemen were killed in and around the city. Full Story
