Probe of DEA Agents Finds No Wrongdoing
A Justice Department official said Friday an investigation into allegations made by one of its attorneys of drug trafficking by U.S. drug agents in Colombia uncovered no wrongdoing. The investigation came after a memo, written in December 2004 by Thomas Kent, then a lawyer involved in handling narcotics wiretaps for the Justice Department, alleged that internal probes into the misconduct were cut short.
