The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) on Wednesday welcomed Norway’s rejection of the terror tag placed by the United States and the European Union on the rebel group and its leader, Jose Ma. Sison. At the same time, CPP spokesman Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal agreed with the statement of Philippine government negotiator Rene Sarmiento, who said Norway’s decision to disassociate itself from the blacklist enhances its role as peace broker.
