Police have arrested 16 suspects linked to a spate of bombings in Swaziland last year, amid mounting criticism that the clampdown is aimed at thwarting basic political freedoms in Africa’s last absolute monarchy. Two more activists were arrested Tuesday and appeared in court Wednesday on charges of high treason and sedition, according to their lawyer, Leo Gama.
