Police in southern India said they have arrested a militant with links to an Islamic rebel group in Kashmir for an attack at a science conference in which a professor was killed. Separately, police said they had arrested two men in Hyderabad and had seized 14 kilograms (31 pounds) of powerful explosives before a visit to the city by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
