A Philippine judge who ordered the government to pay tens of millions of dollars in a legal battle over a Manila airport terminal has been murdered in an ambush. Two motorcycle-riding gunmen shot dead Henrick Gingoyon as he was walking home in the town of Bacoor, provincial police chief Senior Superintendent Benjardi Mantele said Saturday. Earlier this month the Supreme Court upheld a January 2005 ruling by Gingoyon ordering the government to pay three billion pesos (56.5 million dollars) in a dispute over the terminal. Full Story
