South Korea’s president apologized Tuesday for the deaths of two farmers following a police crackdown on violent rallies against the World Trade Organization. Earlier in the day, the country’s police chief also issued a public apology. The apologies came a day after South Korea’s human rights panel said police probably delivered the fatal blows the farmers suffered in the protest in Seoul on Nov. 15. Full Story
