Security forces in Dhaka captured Ataur Rahman, the suspected military commander of Jamaat-ul-Mujahedeen, the banned Islamist militant group blamed for a series of recent bombings and suicide attacks. He is a brother of the group’s fugitive supreme leader, Sheik Abdur Rahman, and the authorities hailed the arrest as a breakthrough.
