Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says the man who briefly replaced him during a short-lived 2002 coup continues meeting in Colombia with retired Venezuelan army officers, businessmen and priests to plot another attempt to overthrown him.Chavez said Monday night that he had given Colombian counterpart Alvaro Uribe documents about the ostensible gatherings in Bogota to “conspire” against Caracas. The ringleader, according to Chavez, is businessman Pedro Carmona, who headed the junta that briefly ousted the Venezuelan president in April 2002 and then fled to Colombia after the failure of the putsch.
