‘Militants’ surrender in Pakistan

Thirty-five suspected Islamic militants have surrendered in Pakistan under a peace deal reached in the tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Pakistani officials say the agreement came at a meeting between the local administration and tribal leaders in the North Waziristan town of Miranshah.
