Iraq says suicide bombers enter via Syria

Senior Iraqi officials said nearly all of the suicide bombers who have carried out attacks in Iraq have entered the country from Syria, warning that Arab capitals won’t be saved if the “Iraqi volcano explodes.” Iraq’s Defense Minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi slammed Syria for letting militants train on its soil for attacks in Iraq, saying: “We have more than 450 detainees who came from different Arab and Muslim countries to train in Syria and enter with their booby-trapped vehicles into Iraq to bring destruction and killings.” Speaking after meeting Jordan’s prime minister in Amman, Dulaimi said: “Let me tell the Syrians that if the Iraqi volcano explodes no neighboring capital will be saved.” Full Story
