Suspected Taleban rebels have killed seven police officers in an ambush in Afghanistan, while two civilians were beheaded in a separate attack. The police were fired on as they drove towards the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, a local governor said. The civilians were abducted on Monday from a village in the southern province of Uruzgan and their bodies found two days later, Jan Mohammed Khan added. Full Story
