A partly exploded pipe bomb was found in back of a building on Long Island that houses the Congressional district office of Representative Peter T. King, the Nassau County police reported yesterday. No one was injured, the police said. It was not certain that Mr. King’s office was the target, since it is one of several tenants in the building.
