Arab countries have remained silent in the days after a U.N. report was released implicating top members of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s inner circle in former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s assassination. The United States and France said Monday they were working for a U.N. Security Council resolution demanding Syria’s full cooperation with the U.N. probe into Hariri’s assassination.
