Attorney General Isaias Rodriguez alleged here Thursday that the CIA was involved in the attack that killed one of his office’s prosecutors and that Venezuelan police then tried to cover it up.A group of Venezuelan police officers were “protecting (the CIA) and wanted to confuse the Public Ministry,” said Rodriguez at a press conference. Prosecutor Danilo Anderson was killed on Nov. 18, 2004, in Caracas when two bombs placed underneath his car were detonated by remote control. Full Story
