At least three people were killed and nearly 50 injured in clashes with police in southeastern Bangladesh on Thursday, police and officials said. The clash erupted after hundreds of villagers, blaming police for inaction against robbers, attacked a police station at Basurhat of Noakhali district, 200 km (125 miles) from the capital, Dhaka.
