Artillery fire between rebels and Sudanese forces in North Darfur over the weekend killed a number of civilians, the Sudanese government said Monday. The African Union, which is monitoring a shaky cease-fire deal between rebels and the government in the crisis-wracked Darfur region, said rebels attacked an army outpost early Sunday.
