The Democratic Unionists, Northern Ireland’s dominant Protestant party, presented a long list of demands Thursday to British Prime Minister Tony Blair, saying they amounted to their price for opening negotiations on power-sharing with Sinn Fein. The Democratic Unionists presented what they said was a 64-page document titled “Fairness and Equality for the Unionist Community” during a meeting with Blair at No. 10 Downing Street.
