Gunmen shot dead a security coordinator for the United Nations in southern Somalia in the latest assassination in the anarchic Horn of Africa nation, a U.N. official said on Tuesday. “He was on his way home when he was shot and killed by two people,” Sandra Macharia, a spokeswoman for the U.N.
