A banned Algerian Islamic group with ties to al-Qaida rejected an amnesty for Islamic militants, saying in a statement on its Web site that it had no need for a government peace plan. The Salafist Group for Call and Combat issued the statement in an Internet posting on Friday, a day after Algerians voted overwhelmingly to approve the peace plan. Full Story
