Ten insurgents and an Afghan soldier were killed in an operation to arrest a top Taliban commander in southern Afghanistan, a governor and the US military said. A soldier from the US-led coalition that has been in Afghanistan since the force helped remove the Taliban from power in late 2001 was also wounded in the operation Thursday in Uruzgan province, the US military said on Friday.
