Two right-wing militiamen died in fighting Thursday in a rural area in the southwestern province of Nariño, while army explosives experts deactivated two minefields in southern and eastern Colombia, officials said. The two paramilitary fighters, members of the AUC rightist militia umbrella group, died in a clash with army troops near the city of El Rosario.
