Seven Jordanians went on trial at the state security court accused of recruiting militants to fight US forces in Iraq, as four others were indicted on similar charges ahead of their trial. Judicial sources said the seven defendants who appeared in court denied the charges levelled against them in July. One of those recruited by them was named as Raed Mansur al-Banna, a Jordanian allegedly involved in a suicide bombing that killed 118 people in the Iraqi Shiite city of Hilla in February.
