Coalition forces killed six insurgents in northern Iraq on Sunday during raids on al Qaeda in Iraq safe houses, the U.S. military said. A military news release said insurgents attacked coalition forces as the U.S. and Iraqi troops entered a house in Tal Afar, to the west of the major city of Mosul. Four insurgents were killed and four enemy fighters were captured, the military said. In an ensuing gun battle with people in another house, coalition forces killed two more insurgents.Full Story
