Tamil Tiger rebels in Sri Lanka have rejected a plan by Norway that peace talks be held at Colombo airport. Norway, the mediator in the Sri Lankan peace process, came up with the venue to break an impasse on fresh talks. The Sri Lankan government had insisted they be held in the country while Tamil Tiger rebels wanted them overseas. The talks are to discuss the 2002 truce which came under pressure with the recent killing of the former foreign minister, Lakshman Kadirgamar. Full Story
