Bodies may be Japanese tourists

Two bodies have been found in southern Afghanistan – officials say they may be of two missing Japanese tourists. The bodies – of a man and a woman – were found in the desert 7km (4 miles) from the main Kabul-Kandahar road. The tourists went missing after apparently entering the country from Pakistan on 8 August, a Japanese diplomat said last week. The Japanese embassy in Kabul has yet to confirm whether the bodies found are those of the two Japanese tourists. Full Story
