TREASON charges could be brought against Islamist extremists who have voiced support for terrorism following the 7 July London bomb attacks, it has emerged. Three prominent Islamic clerics who have appeared on television in recent days are now facing possible action after a meeting between the Attorney General Lord Goldsmith and director of public prosecutions Ken Macdonald.
