Talks in Ivory Coast between the head of the army and the commander of rebel forces have resumed. They are due to finalise details of a disarmament process, which is scheduled to start on Sunday. Some 50,000 soldiers from the loyalist army and the New Forces rebels are due to begin moving to compounds where they will be disarmed in six weeks’ time.
