Palestinian militant factions pledged yesterday to work with the Palestinian Authority to ensure the success of next month’s pullout from the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Ahmad Qorei said. As the pullout gained momentum, Israel was rushing to complete a three-layer-deep barrier of fences and walls on its border with Gaza to keep Palestinian infiltrators out after the withdrawal.
