Pakistan has offered to sign a formal agreement with the member countries of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on counter-terrorism cooperation. The agreement is likely to be signed during the ASEAN’s ministerial-level meeting, scheduled to begin at Vientiane, Laos on Tuesday. Besides other issues of common interest, the 38th ASEAN meeting will address concerns about terrorism, said diplomatic sources. The sources told APP in Beijing that the Association is expected to sign agreement on counter-terrorism with some other countries as well.
