British police admitted a Brazilian electrician they shot dead in a London Underground train had nothing to do with the terror bombings, but said they will stick to a policy of shooting suspected suicide bombers in the head. Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, who had been scheduled to visit London before the incident, said he expected a “full investigation” into the killing of a 27-year-old Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes.
