North Korea said the United States must normalize relations with it, end its “hostile policy” and offer “definite assurance” of non-aggression for progress to be made at six-party talks resuming next week. In an interview with China’s Xinhua news agency, a North Korean foreign ministry spokesman added that Washington should also remove the Stalinist state from the list of state supporters of terrorism and lift sanctions against it.
