Australia’s Prime Minister John Howard has begun a trip to London where he will meet two Australians who were injured in the July 7 bombings before holding talks with his counterpart Tony Blair, a spokeswoman for the Australian High Commission said. Hot on the heels of a trip to Washington where he met another key ally, US President George W. Bush, Howard was also due to speak to Home Secretary Gordon Brown, Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and Defence Secretary John Reid during the trip, which ends Monday, she told AFP on Wednesday.
